EuroFresh Farms Sun-Dried Tomato-on-the-Vine
2-4 servings
Ingredients:
- * 25 Eurofresh Farms tomatoes-on-the-vine
- * 3 tablespoons dry herbs
- * 4 tablespoons salt
- * 1 cheesecloth
Directions: (2 options)
Natural:
- Slice tomatoes directly in half
- Season tomatoes lightly with salt and desired dried herbs
- Place tomatoes on a clean sheet pan face up, cover with cheesecloth (making sure cheesecloth does not touch the tomatoes
- Place in direct sunlight for up to 2-3 weeks, or until desired texture has been reached.
Fast:
- Preheat oven to 200 degrees
- Slice tomatoes directly in half
- Using a bowl, season tomatoes with salt and desired dried herbs
- Lay out tomatoes on a baking sheet face up, place in oven.
- Let bake for up to 12 hours (may take longer depending on the size of the tomatoes). Check periodically until desired texture is reached.
